Jeb insults FL Senate: says they play "little games" in their building.
And the GOP President of the Senate tells him to watch what he says. It is good when they go after each other.

Lee Rebukes Gov. Bush Over Critical Words

TALLAHASSEE -- In a signal that the harmony that has characterized the 2005 legislative session may be fraying around the edges, Senate President Tom Lee on Wednesday rebuked Gov. Jeb Bush for criticizing legislative decisions and he accused the governor of "plagiarizing" the Senate's growth management plan.

What set off Lee was Bush's criticism of the Senate's refusal to confirm Alan Levine, the governor's appointee who heads the state Agency for Health Care Administration. Bush said he had told Levine, who is leading Bush's efforts to revise Medicaid, not to worry about the Senate vote and to "stay above the fray."

"Don't get involved in the little games people play inside this building."

But those comments didn't sit well with Lee, a Brandon Republican who was one of the senators who clashed with Bush during a medical malpractice special session in 2003, when Levine issued an e-mail suggesting Republicans find opponents to run against senators who opposed Bush on the issue. "I would encourage the governor to watch what he says because you know the emotions tend to run high in the last week (of the session), and people tend to get offended very easily," Lee said. "The decorum and tone that have been set by the speaker and I could easily be unraveled by a governor who really doesn't have a role in this process right now, in my view."

Aides to Bush declined to directly respond to Lee's criticism....."

Tom Lee is truly trying to set a decent tone. Much better than we had before in King.

4. LOL
He is a really annoying guy. He has done a lot of harm to this state, and his secretary stuff has had little attention.

10. the first time he ran against lawton chiles, he lost...
then the bush vengeful machine came out full force and lied, and lied, and lied ... against lawton chiles' lt. governor who, truth be told, did not seem to have one spark of life in him and looked more dead than alive, (jeb's oppenent in this second run)and jeb the younger man...full of hormones, vitality and seemingly life, lied his way into the governorship... he would come to liberty city ... promise the poor, the black and outcast the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow ... and darn if he didn't turn against them the minute he had his darn foot inside the governor's mansion resided for all of his term ... who, by the way, was found dead of a heart attack in the gym room of the governor's mansion just before he was to turn the mansion over to JOHN ELLIS BUSH. It seems doing so was more than his heart could bear.

then ...

there are rumors that for his second term there was an agreement between him and bill mcbride that mcbride would not push him out ... but first mcbride had to beat janet reno in the democrat primaries and lots of people WHO IN THEIR HEART KNEW BETTER AND WOULD HAVE VOTED FOR JANET RENO ... went ahead with the MSM's poll numbes and voted to McBride against Janet Reno ... then, of course, there is the story too of DIEBOLD, DIEBOLD, DIEBOLD !!!!!! those steal the votes for bush machines.

12. some minor corrections:
Lawton Chiles first ran against and defeated Bob Martinez the incumbent governor of Florida in 1990.

Up for reelection in 1994 the incumbent Lawton Chiles ran against Jeb Bush (up for his first run at governor). Lawton beat Jeb handily.

Lawton served 2 full terms and could not run for governor again. His Lt. Governor Buddy McKay ran as democratic candidate in 1998 and Jeb Bush was the republican candidate. Bush beat McKay. He never bested Chiles.

In a sad ending to the story Lawton died shortly after that election but before Jeb's inauguration in Jan. As a result Mr. McKay actually served a brief term as governor (couple of months) before Jeb took over.

In 2002 Jeb, the incumbent, ended up running against McBride the democratic nominee. Jeb won. I wonder about what happened. Was there fraud? Who knows. Electronic machines were being put in during that time but weren't everywhere.

What I do believe is that the democratic party made a big mistake in not supporting Reno. I believe she could have beat Jeb.

14. yes ... buddy mckay looked like a dead zombie next to jeb bush in those
campaign runs. It was in that campaign that JEB would pose with the poor, the black, the disabled and HIS WIFE touting families, help to families, and family values... LIES. LIES. LIES. as people soon learned...including ARchbishop Curry (a leader of one of the black churches in the area who threw his support for jebush).

Thank you for correcting me in that jeb never bested lawton chiles. he didn't as you well say.

yes... lawton chiles died shortly before jeb moved in to the governor's mansion (i think his heart, broken over having to hand the governorship to such scum, took over and killed him) ...

and YES!!!!!!!!! Janet Reno could have beat JEB BUSH in the closing of an eyelid or, as the cubans say, "en un abrir y cerrar de ojos".

ONE OF THE EDITORS FOR ONE OF TALLAHASSE'S MAJOR NEWSPAPERS SAID TO ME, IN RESPONSE TO A LETTER THAT I HAD WRITTEN TO HER, THAT HER HEART WANTED TO VOTE FOR JANET RENO BUT THAT THE POLLS TOLD HER TO VOTE FOR MCBRIDE.

WHEN I asked her WHERE WAS THE HONESTY OF GOING WITH HER HEART AS OPPOSED TO THE LACK OF HONESTY IN GOING WITH WHAT SOME MANIPULATED POLLS TOLD HER, SHE NEVER ANSWERED.

(I WAS ONE OF THE VOLUNTEERS WHO WORKED FOR THE JANET RENO CAMPAIGN).

ALSO the rumor mill around here WAS FULL OF GOSSIP ABOUT THERE BEING SOME SORT OF AGREEMENT BETWEEN JEB BUSH AND MCBRIDE WHEREBY MCBRIDE would beat janet reno but WOULD NEVER DEFEAT JEBush (AND THE WAY THAT MCBRIDE RAN HIS CAMPAIGN AGAINST BUSH GIVES CREDENCE TO THAT). I remember seeing a WSVN news clip the morning of the gubernatorial elections, before all the votes were counted) of McBride jogging in a pair of sweat pants and as he walked away from the camera and the brief interview of the reporter at the scene... he had all the appearance of a man who knew he was going to be defeated and the camera seemed to capture tha.

ALSO ... as machines were being installed in miami dade county... many voting cites did not open on time for voting and where the machines were up and opened early, many machines had difficulties in accepting the votes ... they even denied CARRIE MEEKS her early vote because of some stupid place either did not recognize her or there was a problem with the machine... AND THE MACHINES IN DADE COUNTY, FLORIDA {BUSH WORLD A LA ALEX PENELAS], MISCALIBRATED MANY, MANY VOTES IN FAVOR OF JEB BUSH AGAINST JANET RENO IN THE DEMOCRATIC PRIMARIES...

JANET RENO, BEING THE LADY THAT SHE IS NEVER CONTESTED THE VOTES, OTHER THAN ASKING THEM TO LOOK INTO THE CALIBRATION OF THE MACHINES... EVEN when later on ... some stolen votes in her favor came to light.

FLORIDA WOULD BE A MUCH BETTER PLACE TODAY IF JANET RENO HAD IN FACT BEEN ELECTED OUR GOVERNOR... She had a plan to make things right for Florida... She was going to build Florida back up the right way, she used to say, the same way her mother had built their house out there near the everglades, "FROM THE GROUND UP".

instead ... jebush doesn't understand the everglades, doesn't understand justice, doesn't understand the needs of poor, disabled and the elderly, has run the florida retirement system to the ground, and has privatized many career services and those career service employees who thought they were building a nest egg for retirement have been left to dangle out there to the whims of privatization and private companies who don't give a damn about the humans that make them run.

okay, i realize i am rating, so i will just end here. thanks for listening.

constitution to two full terms as governor. Jeb will have completed 8 years in 2006. He cannot run for governor again in 2006.

Edit: My misread of your post. He most certainly could run against Nelson (senator) in 2006. I haven't heard any rumors about that specifically but it is early yet.

6. I think Jeb is now engaged in a little bit of this.....
""A Force" was MI-6’s group that carried out deception. They would have their double agents pass out CHICKEN FEED (which is what they call classified information that can be thrown out to the public) to establish their double-agents’ credentials (BONA FIDES) as agents against the British. Today, there are numerous anti-NWO people who are actually double agents. They are distributing chicken feed to make people think they are legitimate. By the way, it is interesting to note for those who realize how important carousels are to programming that MI-6 (HO in Vauxhall Cross, Eng., with a training ctr. at Ft. Monckton, near Gosport, so. Eng.) is nicknamed (actually its cryptonym) "Carousel" by its daughter organization Mossad (officially aka Central Intelligence Collection Agency)."

Count the days until someone is out of a job in Florida....

11. Considering that the Florida Legislature is under Repug control
this is incredible news.

I don't know much about Tom Lee but he doesn't seem to give a shit who or what Jeb is and he's got Jeb sitting in the Governor's mansion crapping his pants. Something's going on in Tallahasse and it seems that Jeb is losing control. Two more years Jebbie and it looks like rough seas ahead.

15. Tom Lee is a fairly moderate, sensible Republican.
And yes, I do think Jeb is losing some of his power. Not enough to really show yet, but getting there. He has done so much damage, we may never recover.

17. After they get rid of the Judicial Branch,
The legislatures will be the only impediment to a takeover by the Executive Branch.

But some of the lege might figure out what's going on. Even in Florida. (Not sure about Texas.)

18. Yep, Republicans are so vicious that they will eat their young.
I love it when this happens. We need to get more Rove, and learn how to pour gasoline on these little squabbles.

One thing a Tyrant cannot stand is the belief that someone else is either better, or more important than they are. How do we play this?
