Is it me or is there an ever so subtle shift in the reporting of moron*?
Looking at MSNBC.com page, the headlines lately are not as supportive as before.

For example: Sliding Scale -bush proposes income test to adjust retirement benefits

They could have gone with anything, but given his crapping poll ratings, I thought "sliding scale" was an interesting headline.

"stocks fall sharply on weak GDP report"

"house narrowly passes $2.6 trillion budget"

I know, it's very subtle, but I just have this vibe. It seems like it's shifting.

No more, "glorious hail the leader and his brilliance", headlines.

1. The panel on right now with Tweety aren't showing much love for
blivet** right now either. Or Tom Delay for that matter.

Interesting conversation actually. No screaming and much more anti-blivet** than usual.

4. Except right after * finally left the podium and Tweety
had the first words, he said he thought * did great and that his bright, shining personality came through. Shilling as usual, until others came on to say that * didn't do too well.

7. I missed that part
just caught the end of that panel. I was surprised, pleasantly so, by the blivet** us "fucked" tone that I heard at the end.

16. It's hard for Tweety to see the truth with those stars in his eyes
He can't help it, he's smitten with the shrub. Probably Tweety wants to build a nest in the shrubbery.

2. Well, they probably want to build up a little credibility before '06
Unless the public mood really changes they'll probably swing rightward again before the midterms. They're just going to get a little reason in to build up the thier credibility in the meantime.

Keeping up the level of bullshit we've come to expect over the last four years isn't a good long term strategy. The on-camera hairdoos probably don't know it, but the behind the scenes people do. They want to serve thier corporate masters, and make money. Showing obvious bias and disrespect for the truth long term doesn't make money, which is why totalitiarian regimes have state-run media, and why cable news has almost no viewership.

They'll tack right again by the time election season rolls around and people start paying attention.

and Q&A was over. Said Bush has severe problems with all of his big issues. Very negative report.

And I thought it was funny when Shepard Smith on Fox said something about Bush finishing his press conference "and now The Simple Life." LOL

11. I agree ... subtle and slight ... but noticeable
I also thought the shilled questions at tonight's State Photo Op was a little more edgy than it might have been. Not hard ... but a little more challenging.

Of course, to Boy King, "what did you do yesterday" is in the "hard" category.

12. I wouldn't know. I don't ordinarily watch it.
I spent the week-end at a relative's house and FOX news was on the entire week-end. The only thing I noticed was an ever-so-slightly-subtle fear campaign going that seems to have been officially hatched about Iran. I thought to myself, here we go....

14. Wishful thinking, IMO.
This is the corporate-owned and controlled media, the propaganda arm of the American Military Machine.

If they seem to be asking tougher questions, keep things in perspective. Remember how Clinton was grilled?

The media whores aren't as easy now on Bush as they were before the election, but that's all part of the program to build credibility with the stupid among us. Guaran-damn-teed they will be on their knees before the '06 elections. Bet.

15. The worm has indeed turned
It's there. The questions were much more bold than what I've seen before. Almost everyone of them lead off with an insult more or less. They didn't ask the really great questions but they did mamage to bring up quite a few things and even had a few follow up questions.

It all started on Jan 6th. It has been building very slowly but our work is paying off. The sheeple are beginning to awaken. I say Shrub goes down by fall.

Impeachment then indictment

It's happening

That's a bit hopeful. Anything is possible though. Management might not be too happy because people are leaving the party. I do admit that things are kinda strange.

figure out what the bushco has done, especially if 9/11 facts come out, I think he will be done. I certainly hope so.

they would have asked the obvious question on the gas situation.

I wonder what is up. People in the media not kissing Bush's ass? People leaving the republican party? I even read that Matthews didn't pump him up. What's going on with that? Things definietly feel weird.

25. ...There was a tiny shift in the tone of the questions...
...I think the Corporate Overlords were more than just a little ticked that * interrupted programming during the first night of Sweeps (one of the ratings periods that decides ad rates and therefore how much money networks make per spot), and so told their plants to make * sweat a little.
