How do the right-wing crazies in Talk-Radio defend this one?...
Think about it fellow DUers. The only people Bush and Co, duped with all of this Iraq-9/11 connection are their own very supporters. We on the left knew all along that this was bogus, so its their own stupid voting block that they are deceiving.

1. They don't care
They dupe their listeners regularly. They lie constantly. What the hell do they care that the administration they support whipped their listeners into a frenzy that was based on a lie, and now deny ever having spread the lie?

They don't give a shit.

3. Ministry of Truth
just keep changing the lie and repeating it over and over. Wash the brain, rinse, repeat.

4. None of their callers will confront them either
"Gee, Rush, didn't you sat Saddam was behind 9-11 last week?"

Lack of intelligence coupled with Sheeple behavior. They need someone to look up to as an authority figure.

6. And that's why they screen the calls!
Rarely do you notice dissension on Rush Lowbrow.

Meanwhile, anyone catch the Howard Stern crank caller talking about Isabel on CNN this afternoon? Very vulgar. You'll never hear that on EIB or any of the other Third Reich shows.

5. this occurred to me too
I wonder how segments of ths public such as, oh, the 70% who were polled and said there was a Saddam/AlQaeda link, are going to feel now that their own president is saying, "YOU, the 70%, are wrong"??

I don't think Bush will lose all his support, but I wouldn't be surprised if even a few hardcore Bush supporters just got PISSED OFF and switched parties out of sheer disgust.

7. Chimpy is losing lots of support among the general public,
and some repugs will sit out the election or even go Dem. Things are finally starting to look up!
