If you could have attended this press conference
and asked the pResident a question, what would you have asked?

For me, it would be: Why didn't you work out a diplomatic solution with Iraq? We know N. Korea has nukes, and according to you so did Iraq, so why are you so willing to work on a diplomatic solution with N. Korea, but not with Iraq? What is the difference between the two countries?

"Mr. President, with oil companies reporting record earnings, why don't you just ask them to lower their prices to consumers? Shouldn't you be kissing up to the oil company executives instead of Prince Abdullah?"

6. He probably thinks the report wasn't real
after all he lives in the twilight zone.

3. Exactly!
I was yelling at the reporter to ask that as a follow up to his N. Korea question.

7. I'd of challanged his dates on "solvency" and "bankruptcy".
Edited on Thu Apr-28-05 08:54 PM by Mugsy
He said "SS would start paying out more than it takes in in 2017, and would be completely bankrupt by 2041."

I'd of asked:

"If your 'personal accounts' were implimented, wouldn't the 'pay out more than it takes in' date be pushed up 12 years to 'right now'?"

...followed by

"You said 'SS will be bankrupt by 2041', but the SS Admin themselves say that, even if absolutely nothing were done, we could still pay between 70 and 80 percent of benefits, which is certainly not 'bankrupt'. So why are you claiming it would be 'bankrupt'?"

9. You've sent our poorest to die in a foreign country for no
apparent reason, you've given our newborns thousands of dollars in debt, you've divided our country almost beyond repair. Tell me, Mr. President, why do you hate America?
