8. Enough to keep you scared, but no so many as to suggest
that Bush isn't in control of the situation and is keeping you safe.

9. Depends on who you consider to be a "terrorist."
If you count the US and its allies...there are a hell of lot of "terrorists."

12. Careful now. Not everyone in the military agrees with *- or even voted *
Casey Sheehan, who was KIA in Iraq, was against the invasion of Iraq, as was his family. They are now vocal opponents of *.

15. harsh as it appears, he made the choice to serve AND go to iraq. Just
as ratzenberger chose to join the hitler youth.

He could have "not" gone. He could have gotten up from camp and walked away.

It's not what we want to hear, but this is the truth. He still made the choice.

16. I asked because they were talking about the Patriot Act on today's news,
and someone said that the parts of it which were to expire should be renewed, and that they will never be used against ordinary Americans, but must be in place to catch terrorists, someone said, "there are terrorists out there, and we need all the tools we can to find them" or words to that effect. I was just wondering, how many terrorists are we talking about? Are there enough of them to justify renewing these laws?
