Check out the Moonie Times Front Page
(I'm referring to the Bolton story)

I understand that some papers skew one way or the other, but isn't this a little bit too obvious? How do they even argue that this is "objective" journalism?

What ticks me off is that this paper has an absolutely minuscule circulation. However, people think it's more prominent than it is because its articles are referenced over and over again by right-wing hacks.

And finally, what the hell was wrong with being against Bolton from the start?? He was wrong from the start, and the additional information only served to reinforce that fact!

1. Look at the whole front page, Bolton is just one spun story
CIA can't rule out WMD moved to Syria?

Texas trip a message to foes of House Leader?

Oil for Food Program has not cleared Annan?

Goebbels would be so proud.

3. Does anyone read that rag anymore?
It isn't even fit for fish wrap.

And yes, the moonie times is about a partisan as it gets and is only read by the right wing loonies who believe this crap in the first place. No THINKING person can take Moon's rag seriously. I imagine he's losing money hand over fist every year on that piece of shit, but he refuses to shut it down because of the propaganda value. But who reads it other than the choir anyway? It's his money (or rather the money he squeezes out of his ignorant followers) and the more he wastes of it, the better.

7. I think they have a circulation of about 100K
Which is about one-tenth that of the Post.

4. CIA "can't rule out"
Now that there is SO far past spin. The CIA can't rule ANYTHING out because in this world, anything is possible.

6. So after spending billions of dollars
and 1000's of lives, they're telling us the CIA doesn't know shit? Can we just cut their funding and get it over with? The world would be a much more peaceful place.

8. Rule of logic
You can't prove a negative. Common sense on the other hand would tell that with all of our sattelites, spy planes, drones, spies, and tortured prisoners, we can say with NEAR certainty, that the WMD's never went to Syria.

9. What else can't we rule out???
That Jeff Gannon wasn't sleeping with Karl Rove or Scott McLellan?

That Bush knowingly mislead the country on WMDs?

We could have fun with this.

11. Yet EVERY mainstream media outlet uses Moonie Times as a resource
on a REGULAR BASIS.

You will see more Moonie Times reporters on Cspan than you will see from full-fledged news services like Knight-Ridder with over a dozen papers.

Even Aaron Brown features the Moonie Times on his show regularly. That has GOT to come from the executives in charge of the political stories at CNN and the producers and writers developing the stories and tapping into RW sources.

12. Drip, drip, drip.
Is no one else but me seeing a pattern here? Democrats are traitors; Democrats are unpatriotic; Democrats are going for the nuclear option; Democrats are against Bolton and all other convervatives the President wants.

:tinfoilhat:

This is a well orchestrated campaign to make our party illegal and therefore arrestable. Remember back when being a card carrying Communist was illegal?
