That one's about CEO perks and payoffs.

As to the current dilemma, let me tell you two stories:

In Michigan, a hospital under a medical organization pushed the nurses a little too far. Their Union organized a strike action, so the hospital locked them out and replaced them with scab labor.

Also in Michigan, the two leading newspapers were the target of strikes, but scabs kept them going until even the unfair practices suit won by the union was meaningless.

Why would anyone scab? Because they need the job, because they don't care about fair play, because they CAN.

As long as ANYONE will scab, we'll never win; without a revolution, that is.

1. Rent the movie F.I.S.T.
. . . and you will see how to win a strike.

2. Yes, but why are the scabs so desperate in the first place?
Don't fool yourself, the greedy corporate pigs and their government enablers designed it this way.

It's difficult to act on principal when you are a paycheck away from homelessness and bankruptcy.

3. Agree
I hate to say it, but I would scab if I was desperate for work and really needed the money.

The corporations know this, and it can't really be helped.

4. And to top it they can always keep the threat of moving abroad or
importing the labor from overseas on H1 visas.
