Wow! Rush Cleared it All Up for Me (re Ethics Rules)

Rush's meds must have been maladjusted today. I swear that I just heard him say the Speaker Hastert set a wonderful trap for Nancy Pelosi and the Dems. You see, this whole ethics rule change thing was not to protect old Tom Delay. Replacing the old chairman with a Delay crony, and 4 other Repub members with people who had donated to his defense fund was all part of a master plan.

See, they changed the ethics rules, just so Nancy Pelosi would make a big stink about it. Then they would offer to change some of the rules back. This way they could go after all those corrupt Dems, while still keeping Delay's cronies on the committee. It's brilliant I tell you. Now Pelosi won't play their game and says that they need to change all the rules, and members back to the way it was, not just change the rule governing how many votes it takes to open an investigation.

Oh those "wascally" Rushbots are buying it up.

It's fun to listen to such twisted logic sometimes.

That's why Rush says it's all in the plan, that everything is in control, and that no dirtbag is going to get caught if he's a republican.

and the pain starts, hit yourself in the head with a hammer. Then your foot won't hurt so badly. O, and take some oxycontin to help your memory. Put the bill on medicare.
