6. The potential for the U.S. to do good is so great that it hurts to see --
-- other nations' people greet our leaders with scorn. For the record, I agree with the people with the angry signs. Even more I agree with them about our current leaders.

But it wasn't always this way. And it doesn't have to be this way in the future. A President Kerry, I believe, would not have been greeted with such anger and more to the point, would have arrived with something meaningful in hand to offer that would enhance U.S.-Brazilian relations.
