In April, 2003 an intergenerational team of Niko Matsakis of Boston, MA and Elias Vlanton of Takoma Park, MD created costofwar.com. After maintaining it on their own for the first year, they gave it to the National Priorities Project to contribute to their ongoing educational efforts.

3. unfortunately, the military-industrial complex
runs this country.

Uninsured children, or uninsured Americans of any age, are probably somewhere waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay down on their list of priorities. Like # 316.

4. Could've ...but!
The Bush does not care about domestic problems! He cares more about the war! This will be the second Vietnam War. There is no doubt about it. You can't build democracy in a region that does not know what democracy is! Besides..what IS the real reason of invading Iraq? Most likely OIL! There are no WMD's! I do not think that Bush felt sorry for poor Iraqis and went on to liberate them!

10. There are only 45 million uninsured people in the U.S.
You could insure all the uninsured people with less money that is being spent in Iraq. It is sickening.
