1. I've been listening
Biden looked like he was going to have a stroke. Hatch just looks like he's scared shitless. Durbin is on now.

3. At least the Dems are talking about this for what it is
An attempt by the Republicans to establish absolute control over all 3 branches of government. That's an improvement.

5. I saw
Edited on Wed Apr-27-05 11:24 AM by FreedomAngel82
one of the debates last night. I'm not sure what group it was. A senator I THINK his name is Drodgon ( can't remember)a democrat was arguing about the filibuster. He talked about the compromise that Reid did with Rove and how Rove stepped in and it wasn't Rove's place to do so or make the decisions. He also said how Bush was like the puppet's his daughter saw when she was younger and there's a black cloth keeping us from seeing the truth. Then (the best part) is he compared the republicans to the schoolyard bullies who change the rules to get their way and win. It was great! He had a lot of fire and passion. Oh and he also said in a democracy we have to work together and that's the beauty of the filibuster. It makes people reach over on the other side of the isle and work together.
