Berlusconi warns U.S. friendly fire inquiry 'not over'
Looks like Berlusconi took a look at the polls and decided his friendship with Bush wasn't so important after all, especially when he stands the chance of getting voted out.

(Or maybe he has a deal where he gets to say stuff like this in order to keep him in power.)

ROME — Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi on Tuesday launched a bitter attack on the findings of a top-level U.S. inquiry which absolved American soldiers from blame in the killing of an Italian intelligence officer, saying the investigation was "not concluded."

Berlusconi told the Italian parliament he regretted "indiscretions" had suggested the inquiry into the March 4 incident near Baghdad was completed, referring to a statement by a US army official exonerating U.S. soldiers.
