"Comrade Red Elephant"-Watch

Just cataloging cases where the "party that doesn't pander to polls" changes their tune when they discover their pet phrase doesn't play well with focus groups, acts as if they never used the term, that the Democrats coined it, and that it's an obvious case of Liberal Media Bias if the news organizations don't immediately switch to the new Party Line:

"Privatization" (of Soc. Sec.) --> "Reform" or "saving"
"Private accounts" --> "Personal accounts"

"Nuclear Option" --> "Constitutional option"


What more are there? Plenty, but not just the run-of-the-mill hypocracy. I'm talking the ones with Soviet/Orwellian levels of rewriting history and bullying others to accept those terms...
