What excuses are the repugs making on gasoline, war, etc...?

I visit my repug friends once and a while and lob a political hand grenade in. These guys are civil service employees sucking off the government. Here are some of their excuses:

1) High cost of gasoline. "You just dont know what the free market means!" "Europe is paying $4.00/gallon", "The cost hasnt caught up with inflation"

I am going to ask them about the war next.

Funny how they're not bitching now but they had no issues bitching about gas at $1.30 when it was under Clinton. Republicans are hypocrites.
