Anyone else sick of hearing about Tom Delay?
I already knew he was a dishonest scumbag, time to move onto more important things. We're gonna turn him into a sympathetic figure if we don't cool it.

Just kidding....

Actually, I was reading this story today. And I kinda wonder if charges were dropped against this company in exchange for them rolling on Delay. I think that's quite possible.

"Prosecutors dropped charges against a California company accused of making a $25,000 contribution to a political action committee formed by Republican House Majority Leader Tom DeLay.

Questerra Corp. was among eight companies and three DeLay associates indicted last September in connection with contributions to the Texans for a Republican Majority political action committee. DeLay has not been accused of any wrongdoing."

2. Honestly, not really. I hope we hear about him right into 2006. :)
I hope the GOP sticks with him. Guys like him are going to help ensure our victory in 06, and 08. :)

6. Yes
For him to step down, disappear, and be forgotten by people, who are finally starting recognize what the man represents, might actually benefit the repubs in '06.

5. I'd be happy to see him looking miserable for the next 2 years
whenever i see him now on the news he look terrible. I'd like him to feel like he's always under scrutiny and on double secret probation and then I'd like to him him lose his next election.

8. I guess we will know pretty soon if Delay gets charged.

>>more from the article<<

"According to the dismissal, Questerra agreed to cooperate with the prosecution and investigation of the case."

If they were going to roll on Delay, that would already be in the bag before charges were dropped.

//on edit// I wrote Bolton instead of Delay :silly: No biggie, both need to be run out of the political landscape asap.

9. Nope
Want him frog-marched out of the Capitol with a raincoat messing up his dyed hair, wondering if his face lift will help him in prison, then Cheney, Rummy, etc until Mary Matelin is running the government.

11. I hope DeLay coverage eclipses Michael Jackson coverage.
I want more, more, more.

The only thing that will backfire is any defense of the deeply corrupt DeLay.

Americans understand the kind of man DeLay is, and they always have.

We need more coverage to assure the full story reaches the 83% or so of Americans who will be quite clear what a man like DeLay is all about.
