Lots of information on the right wing and the Christian fundamentalists
Hey everyone,

Back in November I started a website along with a handful of other people to research the vast right-wing conspiracy (VRWC, for want of a better phrase) with a special emphasis on the Christian fundamentalists. The site never fulfilled my objectives and most of the original people have moved on. Initially the site was private but in light of the recent inactivity I've opened up research fora at the site for public viewing.

Thanks to some really great people (many of them DUers or former DUers) there's a lot of useful information there. So I just wanted to take this opportunity and let everyone know it's there for the taking. Hope you find it useful.

Enjoy,
salvorhardin

3. Resources on the Religious Right and their designs on our democracy
Fundamentalist Radical Clerics such as Falwell, Dobson, and Robertson are not merely medieval throwbacks or misguided religious hacks. They are part of a well organized subversionary movement known as "Dominionism".

Dominionism constitutes a serious threat to American Democracy. These Radical Clerics have developed and are executing a detailed plan to gradually replace the free, secular democratic society of the United States with a Theocracy.

It is critical that people become aware of the extreme agenda these people have for the United States and ultimately for the world. The results of the 2004 Presidential Election were not a fluke or something that was drummed up over a period of months. It has been in planning for over 20 years, and what we are seeing take place now is, in the words of Katherine Yurica, "the swift advance of a planned coup".

4. Those are two excellent sites
Katherine Yurica in particular is amazing. She's been at this since the 1970s and even testified in Congress in 1977(!), I believe, about the extent of the fundamentalists power and plans.

As with PNAC, and the BFEE, all this information is out there and has been out there for a long time but never really gets covered by the MSM. This was perhaps the most incredible thing I learned when we began looking into all of this.

5. The corporate media has been doing so many stories on 'faith'
you'd think they could cover the Dominionist movement. It's very well documented very worth covering. It would make a sensational bleeding/leading story for a news magazine like 60 minutes.

6. Yep. Very TV, 60 Minutes friendly subject
but even Sun Myung Moon being coronated King (of Peace) in a Senate office building with many congress critters attending didn't make a splash.

12. I too often wonder why the corporate media doesn't cover it.....
Of course that could always be due to something else. Maybe they are digging a large ditch and burying all the evidence under a 1000-foot deep wall of concrete.

Now we need to take some of that info and turn it into flyers.

The Birchers. Absolutely. Bradley Brothers and some of that same crew are the money. I'll get that info. I don't think it's a coincidence that everybody involved with the Birchers went on to found the groups that are mucking everything up today.

People crazier than the Birchers are in control. If we said that often enough, a whole lot of people over the age of 45 would say "Holy shit, that's right"

WATR was meant to be a one-stop shopping for this kind of information. We had also hoped to grow our own stable of writers. If you'd like to get people together to work on this, head over to the site and hit 'Register' at the top of the page.

11. Sorry for the lateness...
but you're quite welcome. It's my hope that having all this information collected together in one place will help other people.

Even if my original plans didn't reach fruition, the site is here to stay so I'd be honored if people make use of it. On the other hand, if you or others would like to continue the work please feel free to register over at WATR and invite others.

My only real groundrule is that information posted be factual, well documented and from reliable sources (i.e. no Rense or similar sites).
