At least the polls are slowly going our way...
From the past days news...

Poll says Americans oppose ending filibusters

Bush Poll Numbers On Iraq at New Low

Senators' job approval ratings fall (McCain & Jon Kyl)
http://www.kold.com/Global/story.asp?S=3257078

Excerpts-->
"But by 2-1, the public rejected easing Senate rules in a way that would make it harder for Democratic senators to prevent final action on Bush's nominees. Even many Republicans were reluctant to abandon current Senate confirmation procedures: Nearly half opposed any rules changes, joining 8 in 10 Democrats and 7 in 10 political independents, the poll found."

"Bush's overall job approval rating declined to 47 percent, the lowest the Post-ABC News polls have recorded since he took office, with 50 percent saying they disapprove. Just four in 10 Americans gave the president positive marks for his handling of Iraq, the lowest since he launched the conflict in March 2003."

"Sixty-one percent of Arizonan's surveyed by Behavior Research Center for its Rocky Mountain Poll rate Senator McCain's overall job performance favorably. That's down from 73 percent in January."

"Senator Jon Kyl's job performance rating drops to 42 percent from 49 percent in January. Twenty-one percent of those polled believe Kyl is doing a fair job while ten percent say he's doing a poor job."

Jon Kyl is a Republican Senator from Arizona.

Just curious... does anyone have any recent poll numbers for Democratic Senators(Kerry, Boxer, Obama, etc...)?

1. I sincerely believe it's because of...
Media Matters, and the rest of the liberal talk radio (AAR, Schultz...)

2. Agree..
There has been a five to ten percent swing since the election, and I think it's because of these new liberal media companies. That and the Republicans are doing everything wrong lately.

4. The Repugs have listened to thier fundi base last few months--i hope
they continue to do so. It is backfiring. Look at Frist--he resorted to a video instead of appearing--then gave a lame little chat with little new stuff.

3. maybe, but I'd give more credit to republican congressmen and
talking heads that have turned on bush and the radicals. I guess that makes it acceptable to not be in favor of everything they say, because God forbid we make up our own minds about something.

5. I think the issues of soc. sec. and Shiavo really grabbed people's
attention and made them pay attention to the * admin. policies. The closer they look, the less they like what they see.
