But that's just me. I'm a Tough Minded Democrat, probably more centrist than anything until recently, and my main problem is other parties trying to eclipse/destroy the DEMS and take their voter base. I'll have to check PDA out again to see what their platform is.

Although I see the Progressive Side, sometimes it seems to me the far left is screaming so loud I can't understand what they are saying and it feels uncomfortable. Maybe you can edit them down to the facts and the heartwrenching truth.

I don't want raw sewage dumped in my water, thank you very much, but I don't know if we need to preserve every breed of bug known to man to survive.

I say anyone who wants to be a vegan should, and I admire and respect such a committment, but if they force their opinion upon everyone else calling us murderers because we eat meat, then I feel just as disenfranchised as when the repugs get in my face with their rules about life and death.

There is a lot of validity to many opinions on the far left and right, but most of us live a little closer to the middle. I think it has to be about keeping the best of our world intact and in learning to adapt.

Progressives probably have a better handle on that these days, but there has to be a way to approach it without devaluing everyone else in the process.
