I have been trying to call and vent about what a fool and a cretin Bill Frist is for participating in this Justice Sunday thing. It has been steadily busy for over an hour. I pray that it is people calling to say rude things.

I love my state, but he is an embarassment of the worst kind.

I got wind of it from the Faithful America group, here...an exerpt from the email i got.

In an unprecedented display of bravado disclosed in an article by the New York Times , an ultra-right wing para-church organization, The Family Research Council, has organized a telecast scheduled for Sunday, April 24 that will portray those who oppose certain judicial nominations as "anti-Christian” or “anti-faith.” The event is entitled, “Justice Sunday: Stop the Filibuster Against Faith.” Senate majority leader Bill Frist has agreed to participate in the event!



Let me repeat. Your U.S. Senate majority leader Bill Frist has agreed to participate in an event that portrays those who oppose their choices for judicial nominees as 'anti-Faith' This must not stand, and we need your help to change it.

I have all that info, in fact just finally got thru on the phone and gave them what for. I was trying to talk to the little snit who answered and while I was talking she began talking to someone else..

I went off and accused her of not responding properly to a Tennessean with concerns and told her to get this....Bill Frist is much more dangerous to this country than any terrorist ever.

Gosh, I hate to get so mad at someone not in reach.

You should be ashamed of yourself! Your pandering to the religious right in an attempt to 1) get notice for yourself and 2) try to totally erase the line between Church and State.

I am a Christian - a real one and not a Pharisee who shouts his/her faith on the corners. You need to read the Bible a bit more before you do things like this Family Research Council telecast on April 24th.

This is akin to changing money in the temple, Senator Frist, and you know how Jesus felt about that.

You should be ashamed of yourself, Senator Frist. You are using the name of Jesus Christ in the most blasphemous way - and blasphemy of the Holy Spirit is the one unforgivable sin.

I would never vote for him for President, that he and the Family Research Council and those people are trying to turn this country int
a one religion country and that flies in the face of the constitution,that religion has no place in American politics
that he and the house of representatives are destroying this country and the constitution, that the lobbyists and the drug companies are running the country, that he has no business appearing with the Family Research Council about judges, that there is meant to be balance and checks and 3 separate branches of government and they are destroying that, that THOSE people are crazy and destroying this country....AND I DONT LIKE IT, and that although I'm not from Memphis, I'm an American and he still represents me.
