The use of the phrase "Justice Sunday" is a perversion.
And for more than just the obvious reasons. In my experience, Justice Sunday is the Sunday immediately preceeding MLK, Jr. day and refers to justice in terms of social action. I resent these bigoted, hate filled ideologues co-opting the term for their fascist polemic.

I considered trying to find out what churches, if any, in my area were going to be broadcasting the Frist/Dobson love-in, but the website sickened me before I could find a list of participating congregations. Besides, I'd probably just sit there and alternate between wretching and crying.

1. You heard wrong. It's actually "Just US Sunday."

2. It is pretty messed up
Particularly since what they want has nothing to do with Justice, but with control.

3. When I heard Justice Sunday first mentioned, I thought it was a movie
Sounds like a title for an old Western movie.

4. These fools have perverted Christianity ...
... to the point that their groups are the most dangerous in America---promoting their own special agendas of hatred and violence. Like the chimp they masterfully use rhetoric to convinces the ignorant that they "reflect" their values and are representative of "the God"....

5. It is definitely misnamed....
I much prefer the more appropriate: "Sedition Sunday".

Perhaps this is just what the folks in Middle America need to see: The "godly" that claim to represent them and their interests actually openly discussing the destruction of the duly elected and appointed Constitutional government of the United States.

Or maybe they'll all be watching NASCAR instead....:banghead:
