Poll question: Gallup Poll (if they had the guts)
I think if the Gallup organization decided to check the temperature with this question, we all might be surprised. We should ask them, but in the interim, here is the question:

Should Bush/Cheney be impeached?

1. Yes
For war crimes, crimes against humanity and (at least for Cheney) war profiteering.

DeLay and Frist? You can't impeach members of Congress!!

2. I think other members of Congress can move...
to have them cast out into exile, but not sure what the term is... I think falls under impeachment, no? they have to have a trial of sorts... in any case, you know what I mean. The point is, let's run this poll and email Gallup with our findings, asking them to do a scientific version. sound good?

3. They can be expelled
And DeLay should be.

I've seen Senators do worse things than Frist. I'll settle for whipping his @$$ next time he comes up for re-election.

4. Not to be a pessimist, but I'd bet the percentage for impeachment
would be under 20 points if it was a national poll

5. Um, that's WAY pessimistic. I'd say 35% with another 20% "unshure"
I'm more optimistic :D

6. I agree...
I sent a letter to gallup requesting this poll. Anyone want to join me?

And just who are the 2 people who said "no"? Please step forward and identify yourselves.

7. The reason for my 20 % number is the fact
because of the Clinton impeachment, the media standard for impeachment has been lowered to one of a sexual nature or sexual misconduct.

High crimes and misdemeanors are now just part of the political game

Hence no interest or business as usual
