How do you know when someone has placed you on "Ignore"?

I don't know why I thought being "ignored" by a fellow poster was easily ascertained.

In a way, it's a great blessing NOT to know 'cause if I knew a whole bunch of folks were "ignoring" me,...I'd be less inclined to post anything.

On edit: since you're responding to my post, I know you haven't placed me on "ignore", yet *LOL*.

Apparently, if they have you on Ignore, you will somehow be notified that your PM won't go through.

Otherwise, I don't think there is any foolproof way to know that.

I've only place a couple posters on "ignore" and their posts simply read "ignored" when I review threads.

I was just wondering whether I could "see" who's "ignoring" me. Maybe, I'd like to read MORE of what they have to say and wonder how I so offended them that they would want to "ignore" me.

12. i am not ignoring you. and doubt more than a few would ignore

either you or i. and the few that do ignore dont really matter. i get enough replies i know the whole board isnt ignoring me, and that is cool enough for me. other than that, dont care. i really dont feel the need of having someone read my posts that dont value them.

What can I say? I do wonder what kind of impact I have on people,...and I never completely trust myself to be the sole judge of that.

I dunno,...I'm never fully confident, I guess, and do gravitate towards being humble and wanting some solid feedback about my impact.

Anyhoots, I was just curious about that "ignore" thingy believing it was more easily accessible than I believed,...but, it's not an easily accessible thingy.

I guess I was thinking we could easily ascertain whether we were being placed on "ignore" and by whom. I guess my thinking was wrong,...which makes me feel a bit less humiliated and/or stupid.
