The executive branch,Congress and the Press are disconnected
from our daily lives. The lip service they pay expressing concern are just that--- lip service. The lives of the Washington crowd now resemble that of the courtiers at Versailles in pre-revolution France. When someone inadvertently discovers some sort of corruption or another,an Army of servants is pressed into service to deny and obfuscate. This is the ritual they are going through with DeLay.Sex, money, crminal acts all of them are fine so long as a public face can be put on them.Power,Money and Influence can buy all sorts of camouflage.
