I'm jealous of your government sites...
They're so easy to navigate, elected representatives have a far stronger online presence, and it's far easier to find voting records based on party.

I'kl give you a recent rollcall list for a vote -- recognising marriage as an exclusive union between a man and a woman -- thankfully failing.

(Division No. 210 -- Vote no 210)

(And the link: http://www.parl.gc.ca/37/2/parlbus/chambus/house/journals/120_2003-09-16/120votes-E.html)

All text-based, no info about who these people are representing or what exactly is being voted on, a chore to find, and only one way to view the list.

I'm ashamed to be Canadian. :(

Oh...And local LINO (Liberal in Name Only) MP Bob Kilger :puke: continued his homophobic ways (Actually, by your standards he's gay friendly, as he's voted in favour of gay rights bills that even many Dems oppose...) and voted to exclude homosexuals from marriage.

1. We are a bunch of detail freaks over here.

And we have a big government with big deficits.

Canada has a non corporate owned government liberals here wish they had.

So, you have something to be proud about not embarrassed. But you are right, we would go nuts if we didn't have all the details.

2. I thought it was David Kilgore
from Edmonton North.

How can you say politicians don't have an online presence. Paul Martin fills my inbox with spam and won't return my phone calls.
