Has the media forgiven Bush for lying to them or are they still pissed?
It's obvious now that he played with them like the cheap whores they are. They went along with the "embed" idea and printed just what they were told. There were no original ideas from that bunch of so-called reporters. By the way, what happened to Peter Arnett? And now they are slowly coming around to the fact that they printed and spoke the words that there were WMDs and nuclear threats in Iraq. They just did what they were told.
Now they look like fools. But are they pissed off about it? It doesn't appear so. Maybe they just need a little more time??
A friend of mine had a pair of Zulu ground lances, these awesome weapons were set in the path of a charging elephant by the bravest of warriors for the beast to impale itself on. Me thinks the bravest warriors had to have a little time to get their hack up. I'm hoping that is where the press is now , trying to figure out who the bravest warrior is and getting their hearts right.
Just look at the Cheney interview with Tim The Whore on Meet The Press, he never challenged Cheney on any of the lies that he was spewing.
We should be so lucky that the media would be in an adverse position to the administration. As it stands now, they'll continue to whore as long as their network is the one to get an opportunity to prop up the liars.
7. Yeah, they're still pissed, but they're taking it out on the Dems.
Like that guy in The Stranger who kicks his dog--or worse, it's like "If you don't quit your yapping, I'm going to kick you again"--total negative feedback loop.
10. I don't think they are smart enough to be pissed
I have come to the conclusion that news people like people in many professions are there to make a buck and don't really give a damn about what they do. Unfortunately they aren't smart enough to see the results of their actions.
