My lovely Senator Frist wrote me personally
My lovely Senator Dr. Frist wrote to me personally. It looked like one of those regular copy and paste letters where it's the same old shit. My last letter to him (I use congress.org) I wrote to him telling him how he was a big ol' hypocrite and to stop using my religion for his greedy self and how I was disappointed he and other republicans (all but one) voted "no" for Kerry's veteran bill and how they claim to support the troops but do nothing. He wrote and said how they value all the troops and how Iraq had "elections" and this other nonsense. My mother sarcastically asked if I was going to keep the letter. Of course I rolled my eyes and just said no way. I was surprised since I've never gotten anything from the US Senate before. I thought maybe I was in trouble. ;)

2. You could write him back with something like this
I am in the smallest room in my house.

Your letter is before me.

Soon it will be behind me.

4. LOL
I wouldn't even give him the satisfiaction. He's a Bush stooge and I can't stand him. Thank God he's leaving next year. I don't care who it is next whether Corker or Ford junior. Just to get rid of Frist. (I've lived under Corker and he's better than Frist, he's even called Frist a cat killer lol).

Frist asked to atone for killing cats

WASHINGTON, Dec. 31 (UPI) -- Senate Majority Leader Bill Frist, R-Tenn., is being asked by an animal advocacy group to support legislation for better animal treatment to make up for fraudulently adopting cats from animal shelters then experimenting on and killing them while he was a medical student.

<snip>

Frist acknowledged in a 1989 book that he routinely killed cats while an ambitious medical student at Harvard Medical School in the 1970s. His office said it had no record on how many cats died. Frist disclosed that he went to animal shelters and pretended to adopt the cats, telling shelter personnel he intended to keep them as pets. Instead he used them to sharpen his surgical skills, killing them in the process.

<snip>

"They thought they were adopting the animal out to him," said Bresch. "What he did was fraudulent and probably was illegal."

"It would probably would be considered cruel back even then," added Stephen Musso, senior vice president and chief of operations of ASPCA.

:shrug: I don't travel on planes. Not a flying person (I get queezy and I'm afraid of heights).

6. Ah...you probably won't to worry then.
SS on your boarding pass means Selective Search.

You get to sit on a chair while they go through all of your carry-on luggage. The last two times I've flown I've been flagged and my daughter was flagged when she flew to FL to visit a friend back in Dec (she is under 18 so I had to escort her through the airport.)

I've a feeling I've been flagged.

14. I had SS on my boarding pass, and I was searched...
I flew in January.

This was the first time I'd flown in 5 years.

My, how things have changed. I was frisked, felt up and they even went through my carry-on luggage and tested it for chemicals! I had to stand there while they searched for traces of explosives on my packed clothing!

I wonder what that SS meant...

7. Yep,
they know where you live and soon, if not already, they'll know everything about you that they "need" to know. You're a troublemaker, questioning our grate senator like that! Troublemaker, troublemaker! :spank:

9. Right
Never know. I was just surprised to get something like that. I never have before. I always got just automatic replies and my Congressman has written back once or twice before. I can't stand the bastard.

need some "ammunition" at a later date. You know, like letters to the editor relating to some position taken or the spin of the day and voila there is your letter. FrankFrist is a creep extraordinaire and I don't think his political career is done just yet.
