At A.N.S.W.E.R.'s website there is a little poster that has a quote from Rumsfeld that says, "Are more people going to be killed? You bet." Did he really say that?

Now he's "Mumbling Donald, Talking to the Podium." The Daily Show had a recent clip of Rumsfeld juxtaposed with his cockiest "answering my own questions" stuff. Then, Rumsfeld hardly even needed the press, except as stenographers. He'd ask his own questions, provide the answers, then do a follow-up or two before allowing another question, at which point he'd do his riff all over again.

Now, he looks down when he answers, doesn't survey the room like Caesar, and mutters his answers as if he's trying to convince himself that all the turmoil he's caused isn't really happening.
