One way to put a stop to stupid conservative chain letters

Got this stupid chain letter in my e-mail today from my nutty Sister in Law. Go to the bottom for my response.




One of the gals in our weekly "Home Group" sent this to us - this is really cool!

Quite a comeback!!!



One of my sons serves in the military. He is still stateside, here in California. He called me yesterday to let me know how warm and welcoming people were to him, and his troops, everywhere he goes, telling me how people shake their hands, and thank them for being willing to serve, and fight, for not only our own freedoms but so that others may have them also.


But he also told me about an incident in the grocery store he stopped at yesterday, on his way home from the base. He said that ahead of several people in front of him stood a woman dressed in a burkha. He said when she got to the cashier she loudly remarked about the US flag lapel pin the cashier wore on her smock.

The cashier reached up and touched the pin, and said proudly,"

yes, I always wear it and I probably always will."


The woman in the burkha then asked the cashier when she was
going to stop bombing her countrymen, explaining that she was Iraqi.



A gentleman standing behind my son stepped forward, putting his arm around my son's shoulders, and nodding towards my son, said in a calm and gentle voice to the Iraqi woman: "Lady, hundreds of thousands of men and women like this young man have fought and died so that YOU could stand here, in MY country and accuse a check-out cashier of bombing YOUR countrymen. It is my belief that had you been this outspoken in YOUR own country, we wouldn't need to be there today. But, hey, if you have now learned how to speak out so loudly and clearly, I'll gladly buy you a ticket and pay your way back to Iraq so you can straighten out the mess in YOUR country that you are obviously here in MY country to avoid."



Everyone within hearing distance cheered.

Does "YOUR" country's flag have a nice little X or a geometric cross on it? Silly me, I thought that it was our country. Well, it is now. It used to be someone else's before, but we were better armed.

And why are these assholes always telling US to leave? Fuck them, why don't they get out of here? From all the bitchin, moaning, whining about the system being unfair to them,they should go somewhere more conservative and gun crazy than here such as....hmm, Perhaps they will need a space ship hey?

I got one with a big flashing red, white and blue ribbon on it that said, "SAVE OUT FIGHTING troops from my :puke: brother. It also had threats in it and it also had a nasty VIRUS encrypted in it. Had me screwed up for several days even though I deleted it at once and did not reply nor send it to anyone.

5. I've been tormented by RW chain e-mails for some time:

I have looked at the site, but I don't understand something.

Do you send the page back from that site for the original sender to read? Or is there something on the page that can block the RW e-mail urban legend/chain e-mails?

I doubt that my nutty RW relatives who send this shit will read anything I send back to them debunking their dumb e-mails, along with e-mails about angels, "walking with god", etc.

Lordy, those people are stupid.

A burqa is a garment specific to Afghanistan. No Iraqi would ever consider wearing one. It would be analogous to wearing mukluks in Miami.

The same goes for the other restrictive garments like the abaya, worn in Saudi Arabia. Iraqi women wear head scarves if they are devout Muslims.

That alone should be enough to debunk this POS, but considering how ignorant most people here in the US are about the rest of the world, the writer could easily have mistaken a simple head scarf for a burqa and just used a foreign word s/he didn't know the meaning of in a failed attempt to look dead clever.

However, given the prissy nature of the lecture at the end, and the average slob in the street's inability to think of things like that until hours later, I'd say this chain letter arrived from the nether end of a bull.

17. Absolutely!!!! I love to embarrass the person who sent that shit and stop

this crap from spreading. One time when I hit reply all my other brother in law wrote me and told me he was glad I sent that and he and I were on the same page and he was sick of the crap she was sending. The most important thing is misinformation does not belong floating around the net and people have a responsibility to check this stuff out before sending it on.
