Support the troops by funding our fucking VA hospitals.
Senate Democrats propose measures to provide $2 billion to an underfunded health care system for our brave veterans, Republicans vote against it, but it's OK since I'm sure they have ribbon magnets on the back of their SUV's.

3. I used to work at a VA hospital...
it was bad 17 years ago. I can only imagine how much worse it has become.

America's worst shame, the way it treats its Veterans. :grr:

6. The VA down here in nearby Tucson is one of the best..........
but they just kicked my s/o out of there claiming he's not eligible. (He's a Vietnam Vet) He was given no notice, when he called to refill his meds, they told him he's no longer eligible.

7. If veterans care could be outscourced to Halliburton
it would fly through. Its all about moving taxpayer's money into the hands of the corporations.

8. More right-wing phoniness
They are phony when it comes to "supporting the troops", just like they are phony on abortion (anti-birth control) and border security (they want cheap labor).

9. Hubby told me he had Vets with boxes asking for donations for the V A
hospitals here in Az outside the local Fry's this afternoon.Said he felt like asking who they voted for before making a donation, but he didn't, because that seemed disrespectful. Dropped some change, and held his tongue. Our government makes me ashamed....
