Bob Franken...his hilarious reference to Rumsfeld's spin today.
After Rumsfeld got through with his convoluted remarks about the Niger deal, Franken says "I defy you to make heads or tails out of" what he just said.

Franken is on a lovely roll lately.

Seen this before, back in the 70's. Little thing called Watergate...;-)

3. On CNN, the guy with the British accent was anchoring.
Regular CNN, not World. It was a little after 9:30 I believe.

7. Compare and contrast
Isn't it odd how the language used by this corrupt administration has gone from absolute certainty (Saddam has so many tons of this, Saddam has so many tons of that, Saddam has toe jam and cheats at computer solitaire) to a bunch of puzzled shrugs, "I don't know"s and the "fog" of intelligence gathering?

Odder still is that they were so sure about someone else's actions, but so clueless about their own.
