What Will Bush Do after 2008?
Do you think bush will stay in politics after he is out of office? This assuming he isn't arrested for war crimes.

6. He'll get his dream job - Commissioner of Baseball
Edited on Fri Apr-08-05 08:21 PM by Husb2Sparkly
Which he'll use as a cover for stealing whatever he can wherever he can. One evening, while doing a line or three, he'll decide that the death penalty for steroid use is appropriate for the hired help.

on edit ... what I **hope** happens is the hole in the end of his penis heals over and he explodes from the backpressure.

There are so many little BFEE fascists in the pipeline. I hate to think how long they can keep it going. Hell at this point, why not wheel out Neil? Not like anyone would be outraged by his actions anyways.

Johnny Cash is way too cool for Bush. Maybe Toby and Ted Nugent can be cell buddies with him. They can be arrested for making shitty music.

41. Johnny Cash was one of us!
I agree the Man in Black is way too cool for Dubya! He spoke for the down-trodden, etc.

His daughter Rosanne Cash spoke out publicly against Bush and the war in Iraq. She just never faced the same heat as the Dixie Chicks because she's not as popular.

If you don't have his last CD released before his death, American IV: The Man Comes Around, you are missing out. It has "Hurt" on it written for Johnny by Trent Reznor of Nine Inch Nails and JC does a cover of Depeche Mode's "Own Personal Jesus." Great CD.

44. Oh, I didn't mean for it to sound like I was scolding you. Sorry.
I figured that was probably what you meant.

Just wanted to point out how cool he was. I mean how many well known artist do you know that go into prison to play for convicts.

While we are sort of on the subject, Steve Earle is another Liberal, Democrat country artist. I've met him and he is a really cool dude. I work to get prisoners off death row and he is against the death penalty and speaks out against the inequality of the justice system. He's written a couple of really great songs about it. He definitely deserves all of our support as well. He really got jumped on by the cons after he wrote a song about John Walker Lindh that looked at what happened from his perspective.

And just so you know, I'm actually not even a country music fan. I just particularly like these artist I've mentioned because of some of the socially progressive stands they have made in public or with their music. And these country music artists really need our support since their fan base is usually conservative.

I'm really a Rock girl.

You can fool the American people for just so long. When they finally catch on, they'll demand retribution. And worse, they're armed. Will Bush be so pro NRA at that point?

* If country is bankrupt by then, he will demand that the American Citizens still pay for his Pension, Benefits, and SS army. Looted treasury will not count as his Pension, Benefits, and SS army.

40. I think the last year or so of Bush's second term --
-- will be marked by an increase in Democrats in the U.S. House (not a majority, though) and continued stalemate in key legislation.

Iraq will be slightly less violent but by no means more democratic.

Oil will be even higher than it is now and the economy which is greatly oil-based, will go into recession.

THE CAT BUTCHER will begin to defy the White House directives and set indepedent legislative course, with a keen eye toward a run for the presidency.

The media, bored at last with sticking their tongues up Dubya's butt, will begin to dismiss him and as the primaries approach, Dubya will be a bystander.

Historians, already at work on Bush's role in history, will sharpen their words on his lack of accomplishments and the first biographies will begin to appear. Most will embarrass Dubya simply by telling it like it is: he failed at almost everything.

The nutcase Christians will be howling because Roe v. Wade isn't overturned yet and gays can marry in several New England states. They will turn on him sharply and swiftly.

Dubya will take to drink on the sly until he begins to show up for a couple of board meetings loaded and then word will eventually leak out.

This is a presidency that will make Franklin Pierce's presidency look good.
