Police investigating threats at TX high school (shooting threats)

Updates from today..from my daughter who has friends at the school:
A "package" was found in the bathroom yesterday..it had a list of students' names targeted and in the package was a bullet for each name. Kids are being kept out of school, the district called one parent and advised she keep her kid off campus and keep a close eye on her elsewhere as she was on this reported list. The listed names included some cheerleaders and other well-known-in-the-school kind of kids. Pretty friggin' scary.

Plano police said Wednesday that they are investigating threats written in three boys' bathrooms at a high school.

The threats, written in red ink, were found Tuesday afternoon at Clark High School. Police would not quote the exact threat but paraphrased it as, "If you're reading this, I'm going to shoot you."

The threats did not mention any specific person, and police and school officials said rumors were rampant Wednesday about the threats. Police stressed that there was no "hit list" or bomb threat.

"This investigation has not identified any credible threat internally or outside of the district," said a letter from Area Assistant Superintendent Jeff Bailey. "Rumors are continuing to surface regarding this unconfirmed threat, and all are taken seriously."
