Randi smacking down a freeper...
Edited on Fri Apr-08-05 04:56 PM by Reverend_Smitty
typical RW talking points...pope funeral is more important than 44 American deaths that get no coverage.

That guy sounds like such a smarmy bastard

3. I Hope She Reminded That Freeper.....
...that Pretzelboy has gone to more funerals for Popes than he has for soldiers killed in his bogus Iraq war.

4. I don't think he's been to any of his own American Soldiers'
funerals...

He just doesn't give a sh*t.

6. no but that would have been a good point to make
but of course the asshole had to bring up Clinton. Randi's reply, "Bill Clinton and the pope were better friends than Chimpy and the Pope...if the pope can forgive the man who shot him, then he can forgive Clinton's mistake with Monica"

9. I've been listening to Randi for years in Florida.
Unlike Limbaugh, she doesn't need "talking points," nor does she screen her calls. She can shred a wingnut off the top of her head.

A couple of dozen people like Randi on radio and TV would forever bury the right-wing lunatics who broadcast over FOX and Clear Channel.

10. She is right
they have memorized the talking points, and it seems to me there is a concerted and organized effort going on.

That means they are scared. Their leader made a fool of himself in Rome, and did NOT appear to take the high photo op road he probably envisioned for himself--he was merely one of the many, which probably pissed him off ergo his comment that the funeral of a Pope was a highlight of HIS presidency, in spite of the disagreement of the Pope with Bush's injust wars. Clinton looked more presidential than the crass ignorant fascist, stupid Bush.

They are desperate to spin his goofy appearances and his goofy comments and to try to take control of this out of control stupid president who thought the funeral was all about him as the fascist leader of the greatest, the most and the best militarialy supplied nation, was dissapointed obviously in his impotence to take center stage. He did NOT have the kind of photo ops he envisioned and was reduced to making a stupid statement on AFI to his adoring reporters and even that did not do it, as he screwed that up also and had to recall his adoring press minions to make a change to what he said, originally. He is floundering. He was not a smash in Rome.

Remember that the polls show Bush slipping to an approval rate of and incredible rate, 41% last time I looked. This is a low of the lowest for a president only three months into his second term.

I expect that on the Malloy show, they will appear also with the same talking points.

11. Okie sounded like he had
never met a Catholic (I being one) in his life.

The idiot caller didn't even know that the Pope had referred to both the Iraq War and the death penalty as examples of Bush's "culture of death." The fool said the Pope didn't take a side. WHAT????!!!
