It's not stop-loss...it's a back door draft
Watching an interesting discussion on MSNBC about a soldier who fulfilled his obligation to the military and they are attempting to force him back.

The former JAG officer says that retraining someone to fill a slot hurts unit cohesiveness and it doesn't operate as effectively.

I've got one question:

How in the hell is a unit supposed to be cohesive when one member does not want to be there?

While I was active duty if there was someone who didn't want to be there they got their wish. The last thing anyone wanted was someone who didn't want to be part of the unit.

I loved my time in the Army, but I loathe the military's actions in this area.
