3. I saw it last night, but watched it again today
He was great, even though highly subdued.

Did you all notice how, when the camera panned the audience, it seemed like the sound was coming from a different source, like it was being dubbed in or something? I thought that was bizarre, but later I realized it was probably because of the same phenomenon that happend at the "Dean Scream" speech. You really couldn't hear him very well when the camera captured him from a distance, but you couldn't hear the audience well when the camera did close-ups of him. Very bizarre.

It seemed as though they "really liked" him toward the end, as a lot of the audience stood during the final applause for him.

Who'd a thunk that Lewis Black would make perhaps the cleanest comedy speech they've heard in the past few years?!

6. D'OH, my bad! I got my programs mixed up...
I didn't see where it said 'NPR' - was thinking about the media awards dinner from last night..

At any rate, thanks to the person who started this thread - now I'm going to go to the NPR site and listen to it!

7. I read his new book "Nothing's Sacred" recently.
Very funny stuff, but the chapter towards the end on politicians just killed me. Arnold, Perot, Kerry and others really get it.
