Gossip: Jenna in Dirty Disco Dance
http://www.nypost.com/gossip/44048.htm

April 7, 2005 -- VIDEOTAPE of Jenna Bush in very high spirits at a bachelorette party is being sold and could end up on national TV by the end of the week. Luckily for Jenna, the cameraman missed "the high point . . . Jenna on all fours doing 'the butt dance' — and doing it very well — as guys were ogling her thong," said our source. Club patrons do the suggestive dance when the deejay plays the 1988 hit "Da Butt," by E.U. The president's blond daughter arrived at NerveAna, a '90s-themed lounge on Varick Street, at 10:30 p.m. last Friday with several other pretty young things in a battered old blue minivan. Sources said it was Jenna's third visit to the club, which features replicas of Monica Lewinsky's blue dress and O.J. Simpson's white Bronco. Jenna, who plans to teach school in D.C. next fall, wore jeans, moccasin boots and a midriff-baring, satiny blue top. She lit up a cigarette "and she was very polite when she was told she'd have to go outside to smoke," said our source. Before leaving at 3:30 a.m., Jenna and her pals gamely joined a conga line and danced around the club.

36. she seems to relish humiliating her father-"leader" of the free world
She has enormous opportunities available to her - any school she wants, any post-graduate program, and internship in the world...any charity, any cause she wants to lend her name to, and group of people she wants to help, a million ways to take advantage of every good thing the world has to offer that other people only dream of.

and she's dirty dancing.

12. It doesn't seem to me that 'privacy' is high on her list of concerns.
Edited on Thu Apr-07-05 10:19 AM by TahitiNut
Somehow I have a hard time reconciling a bare-butt anal-floss (thong) display to a crowd of up-close-and-personal bar crowd to any concern whatsoever about 'privacy.'

Perhaps its an obscure aboriginal ritual to do honor to the recently-deceased pontiff? :eyes:

I would have permanent suites at various Four Seasons and would be on my thirtieth stripper girlfriend by now.

I mean, if you can't get laid when your Dad can blow up the world, give it up.

23. It's music from Spike Lee's 1988 movie "School Daze"
In one scene, the kids are all dancing to a song called "doin' the butt" at a school dance, which involves bending your knees and swinging your butt every which way. "Sonya's got a big old butt (oh yeah?) Melissa's got a big ol butt (oh yeah?)...."

One of the few dances I used to be able to do without looking like the lame-ass white girl I am (probably because I was one of the only white girls doing it that had seen the movie and had some idea how it was supposed to look)

I'm assuming it's the same song, since it is a 90's themed club....

I feel sorry for her and think she deserves some privacy. Like Chelsea Clinton, she didn't ask to be born into any of this nonsense. She's no Michael Reagan, inciting the troops (a dimwitted scripted intro at the Nat'l Convention doesn't count).

21. I'd rather see her at a disco dance
than at some fundamentalist revival meeting shouting
hallelujah and rolling on the floor speaking in tongues.

This seems normal. I'd rather see young people engaging in
sex, drugs and rock and roll than phony religious shit anyday.
It's what young people do at this time in their life.

I don't like the Bush's any more than anyone else, but this type
of behavior is no worse than what most of us did at her age.

28. I agree
This is normal behavior that we don't bat an eye at when we see thousands of other young women her age doing it. I think because her father pretends to be the most moral man on the face of the planet we see it as some sign of hypocrisy on his part, as if he should have raised his daughters to wear burkas and never have fun.

29. Confusion...
The article says she was wearing jeans and then says guys were ogling her thong.

Sounds like there's some hyperbole coming from the source.

And it sounds like Jenna's pretty much like every other 20something in New York...

have been known to reveal a bit more than the hips. At least, that's what I've been told. :)

33. Ever worn a pair of low riders?
The fashion is to wear a thong underneath, so hen the pants droop, it shows.

34. Probably low-riding jeans w/thong sticking out above.
I've seen that on young women.

I have a 20-something kid in Manhattan, and he's not doing what Jenna's doing. I don't really care what she does, but I do care that they trotted her and her sister out during the campaign with lovely tales of the work they'd be doing with poor kids and AIDS victims, which was, apparently, a line of bull to make them look like serious adults.
