OK so I messed up. I used the AFA's website to send an email to my Congressman deriding his vote on "Terry's Law". Ever since then I've been getting emails from them about Urgent Conservative Issues. Today I got an email from Donald Wildmon himself with this message...

So I called the number. I got a recording saying Thanks for participating in the National Call In Day to support Checks and Balances, preserve minority rights and opposing the Nuclear Option. Please hang up and call your senator 202-224-3121 today.

What do you make of this? Why would that scum Wildmon urge me to call a phone number that gives a Progressive message? Oh BTW, I unsubscribed from AFA's mailing list this evening too.


Edited to add that I only called the number to tell my Senator that liked the law the way it is and to object to any attempt at the Nuclear Option.

and give you the appropriate number to call for your area? That way they can SAY it is a free phone call but if you do follow their instructions you probably paying for the call.
