Eclipse on pope's funeral.
Paris - Those who say eclipses herald history-shaping events will find support for their superstition when, on Friday, the sun will be briefly plunged into darkness on the day of Pope John Paul II's funeral.

4. Yes
And he fits in with St. Malachy's papal prediction of the pope who would be referred to as De Labore Solis -- From the Labor of the Sun.

Spooky, huh?

Talk about weird and spookey. Especially if you're superstious.

9. Especially when you consider that
the new pope, whoever it will be, is supposedly the predecessor of the final pope before the world ends.

Funness.

6. Oh boy...
that should get the fundi-whack-o's all rilled up. I can hear it now... "It's a sign from God"....*grrrr

On a more positive note, at least I will get to see (indirectly that is) some of the eclipse here in the south.

Check this out:

Please make sure your personal items are stowed safely in the overhead bin or beneath the seat in front of you and bring your tray tables to their upright and lock positions...

...and don't forget to bring your salt shaker.:tinfoilhat:

8. Wow. Cool, petron.
Thanks for the link. I really dig that kind of stuff. My intuition told me long ago that something was up.

I just never figured out 'what'.

11. Do you happen to watch Frontline last night?

It was about extremist Jews who don't think Israel is doing enough to "secure the homeland". One of the objectives of these extremist Jews is to retake Temple Mount.

Read about Temple Mount here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Temple_Mount

It just so happens that some of these radical Jews want to visit (visit is putting it lightly) Temple Mount on April 10th.
http://www.worldnetdaily.com/news/article.asp?ARTICLE_ID=43321

Some Jews believe that once Temple Mount is reclaimed it lays way for the messiah to come.

I'm an atheist but some of this stuff scares even me. The convergence of all this strange stuff is creeping me out.

:scared:

on edit: fixin stoopid misteaks :)

12. No. Sorry, my TV is gone for good.
Bush did it. I became allergic to watching him, hearing him, thinking about him.

But I'll check out the links, though. Thankx

10. Didn't Charles and Camilla decide to postpone their wedding
to Saturday? I can't quite picture Charles as the antichrist, but who knows?

14. Of course they could have the funeral Thursday or Saturday
This would be more interesting if he died on the day of a solar eclipse. Since there is control over the day of the funeral, it is not as big a coincidence as it would be otherwise.

15. exactly right
this was not the day of his death. It was a day chosen by the church.

Also, I believe both eclipses were partial eclipses occurring far away. I doubt many in Poland were even aware of an eclipse on the day the Pope was born.

18. No
it's really not.

Malachy wrote very short, vague descriptions of popes that people scour to find SOME relevance. It's the same way people find prophecies in Nostradumbass.

Prophecy is very easy if you don't ever get specific.
