USSS to be unarmed while in the Vatican?

Just heard that reported on the News Hour. Said officials have requested that the Vatican not become an armed place, so even Bush's security team will be prevented from carry weapons while there. I'm sure there are going to be some serious cold sweats and anxious moments within the White House on this one.
