but I think he tanked. He looked absolutely terrified. Wonder if he was "warned" just before he went on?

11. He WAS nervous, but luckily making nervous gestures is part of his act

so it was a great way to cover up his nervousness. Maybe tends to be nervous in general anyway. If he was "warned", I'd love to know what he was told!

He didn't get many belly laughs, but it seems that most people caught on to ALMOST everything he said. He seemed to have struck a chord with his remark about terrorists having religion and power but no sense of humor. I noticed a man in uniform in the audience nodding in agreement, so that's probably the part that Cheney liked.

I think Lewis was probably in great shock that the VP wanted to shake his hand afterwards. And I don't know if it was because he liked the terrorist point Lewis made, or because Cheney was trying to show that HE himself had a sense of humor - who knows...

Anyway, being an LB fan, I think it was cool that he was on the program!
