National Cell Phone Do not Call List

I was told today by the student life office at my college that it will soon be legal for telemarketers to call people cell phones and there is a number that people can call to put their number on the 'Do not call list', can anyone confirm this?



If it is real, i will give you the number.

My wife just registered our phones with the government do not call site today.

5. Hmmm, don't be so sure

I was sent a letter from my Senator Barbara Boxer saying I should sign up my cell phone on the Do Not Call List, which I did. I would think it was a rumor but I trust Senator Boxer and would believe what she says more than anyone else.

I've heard the national do not call list is moving toward covering cell phones soon. I hope it's true...so I called and registered my cell as well as my home #.

Verizon for one is against the idea of letting telemarketers invade their customer base.

7. Do not give your cell # out to businesses ... only to friends and

associates. They won't telemarket you.
