"After a member of the White House press corps who asked the president unchallenging questions was unmasked as a scribe for a conservative GOP group, Americans were bound to be curious. But when nude photos of the writer were identified online with possible ties to gay sex sites, the drama became even harder to ignore.
The mystery man is Jeff Gannon, whose real name is James Dale Guckert. The scandal began when bloggers hunting for clues about his journalistic experience said they found nude photos of him in online profiles that advertised his services as a male escort. The flap embarrassed the White House and raised questions about the conservative reporter's credentials, among other details. Gannon resigned in the wake of the revelations, and the Web site for his employer, Talon News, went silent."

"
What are your plans for getting back into the White House press corps?
If I am hired by another news agency to cover the White House, there is not a single reason why I should not return. I don't know if that is where my career is headed.

Also: "Like many journalists, television personalities, actors, models and musicians, I use a pseudonym purely as a commercial consideration. Larry King is Larry Ziegler, Mike Wallace is Myron Wallace, Michael Savage is Michael Weiner and Jon Stewart is Jonathan Stuart Leibowitz. No one is asking the same questions of them that they do of me."
... Jon Stewart is a comedian. You, Gannon/whatever-you're-called, were reporting for a right-wing propaganda outlet with a fake name, no credentials, and a history as a male hooker. Do you see a problem here?
(Sorry if this is a dupe - I just found it, and hadn't seen it on here yet)
