"First do no harm"
It goes for doctors, one of the core statements of The Hippocratic Oath. The same can be said for presidents.

Everything the maladministration and the repukes do seems to be calculated to create as much societal chaos and wedge-driving as possible. Witness yesterdays little staged affair in WV, with the SS bonds. He essentially called into grave question the full faith and credit of the US. Look at everything else they have done and it seems like the crises never stop. Of course, even they recognized that "the judge thing" was too far.

What is up? What are they playing at? I have my own opinions, but I want to hear yours.

1. Well
I think they really do think that if they got everything they wanted things would be better. I don't nkow how they think that, but I am reasonably confinced they actually do think that.

It's the power of rationalization, in part.

2. Oh sure.
I am not talking ends right now, I am talking methods. They have thrown this society and economy to the edge of chaos time and time again. The case can be made that they are flirting dangerously with societal unrest on a scale little seen here. This is not a civil society right now, as real tensions bubble close to the surface and permissions are being cleverly granted for people to act out in destructive manners.

Why? What will that gain them, in the long run, should it come to pass?
