It will be violently Anti-American,our puppets like Mubarak, the Sauds, the Al Sabahs, all the Emirs, Musharraf will all be fleeing the wrath of their people. That was the fate of the Shah of Iran who was installed as the US puppet in Teheran and ruled with an iron hand doing the US's s bidding until the people rose up and threw him out.

The same Democracy will also be virulently against Israel.

The poppycock we are being fed by this administration that Democracy will bring peace to the Middle East is either wishful thinking or part of their elaborate disinformation game. They are afraid of genuine Democracy. They want a pseudo-democracy based on Demonstration Elections ( credit due to Edward Herman) as in Iraq.

1. As usual
you hit the nail on the head. I agree 100%. Our leaders assume that true democracy is Halliburton and Tricky Dick Cheney. But in the Middle East, true democracy would be a traditional Islamic government.
