What Will Be "THE BUSH LEGACY"?

The Bush legacy: 43 and 12 zeroes

In the most recent issue of U.S. News and World Report, editor Mortimer Zuckerman, no liberal by any stretch of the imagination, levels a blunt attack at the Bush administration's fiscal policies.
"The Republicans," he writes, "have squandered the huge budget surplus they inherited by spending not just on guns and butter, but on guns, butter and tax cuts. Because of government obfuscation, most Americans don't realize the deep hole we're in and the fact that we're still busy digging."

Zuckerman and others have quoted grim figures to illustrate the recklessness of administration spending. The government's obligations, current liabilities and unfunded commitments are more than $43 trillion and rising.

"That's trillions, with 12 zeroes -- 43,000,000,000,000," Zuckerman reminds.

In the year 2525
If man is still alive.
If woman can survive, they may find.

2. The Bush Legacy
a ruined nation
rampant government corruption
a ruined environment
a dangerous world

If we survive until 2006 and are allowed a legitimate vote, I think the GOP will be out of power and stay out of power for a long time.

3. Bush legacy: A scripted facade.
Do you really think that a guy who flies all over the world to pose for photos with filing cabinets and plastic turkeys is running the show?

5. The Bush Legacy as told by future historians:
A man of astonishing character in the face of overwhelming adversity.
Successful in the war on terrorism and the liberation and democratization of three nations.
Brought a moral compass to a newly united nation.
Oversaw a strong growth economy; rebounded tenfold from recession.
Enacted tax cuts that created seveal thousands of jobs.

Of course they're brazen lies, all of them (except that last one - the tax cuts DID create jobs . . . in China and India, while CEOs pocketed the difference), but just you wait. History will be re-written in favor of the simian, just like it was for Teflon Ron. If the MSM didn't cover it, it never happened.

Oh yes, he nearly choked on a pretzel. (Is there a medal of freedom for that?) His is a survivor's story!

:silly:

6. He may well be the first US President jailed, or, possibly even executed,
if his crimes are ever prosecuted.

12. Let's see...
-A dying economy
-An endless war that was based on lies
-Complete control of the media
-Immaturity, petulance, and revenge
-Jimbo/Jeff Gannon (need I say more?)
-Massive debt that will take decades to get rid of
-A stain on the Presidency that no Chief Executive, male or female, will be able to eradicate.

14. Every year on Halloween all the kids will make George W. Bush strawmen....
They will drag these strawmen around the slums crying out, "A dollar for George, a dollar for George?"

At the end of the day the children will take the little aluminum dollar coins they collect and buy a stick of gum or two.

Then they will throw their George dummies into grand bonfires.

In the morning elderly ladies will collect the ashes from the bonfires to make potash for their soap kettles.

15. If he lasts a second term
There wobt be an American to leave a legacy to. But Im pretty sure no matter how bad things get, they will spin it around to make sure Bush looks good. Then in 2008 when they rig it again, Jeb will be president.
