Randi just cited Democratic Underground
as a credible source for details about the Unocal
pipeline and the Taliban and 911.

:wow:

Funny, though, she mentions the Freeps attempts to
discredit Michael Moore's 9/11 theory that they
actually proved it instead.

"They're so stupid."

2. DU is where I learned about Karzai, Unocal, Bush and the Taliban
connections. Yes indeed. DU is the place to come for credible information. Randi's an intelligent lady. She knows the worth of DU. It's priceless.

6. If Malkin's Internment Ideas Ever Got Implemented, She'd
If the internment-for-ethnicity policies Michelle Malkin advocates ever got implemented, she'd find herself detained behind barbed wire (Much to her surprise, no doubt.). I believe that Malkin is biologically of Philippine origin, and probably looks a lot like the sisters, wives, and cousins of members of Abu Sayyaf, Jamal Islamiya and other terrorist groups operating in the Philippines and in the East Indies. It wouldn't matter that she is an American citizen or that she'd spent almost all of her life acculturated as an American--of she'd go into "protective" custody.

People like Malkin need to be reminded of where their notions can lead--not that it's likely to enlighten them, but such warnings do scare the more thoughtful members of the American electorate.

7. I agree - good points
I choose to remain ignorant about her but I'm sure your characterization of her is accurate from what I've read here...

8. Thank You. At Times I Wonder
Thank you for your compliment.

I try and speak common sense and try to share common ground with most of my fellow Dems, despite the fact I'm closer to the late Lloyd Bentsen's economic viewpoints than to Denis Kucinich's. However, I know d__n well that the Rethuglies are out to stomp into the dust not only genuine liberals but also everybody else to the left of the so-called "Club for Growth" and GOPAC's party line.

We all had better stand together against the Rethuglies, especially now and for the near future.

To me, Malkin shills for the xenophobic right and she does so by willfully refusing to look at her ideological playmates' unsavory racist histories. To me, that's intellectually reprehensible as a present-day upper-class white Southerner refusing to look at the South's past history of lynching, segregation, and slavery.
