Why John Bolton must not become UN Ambassador!

There is no question that this administration does something everyday that just boggles the mind....I have sent many emails over the last few years to friends and family referring to the latest outrageous action or appointment of this Neo-con Cabal running our country. One of the creepiest and most outrageous actions lately has been Bush’s appointment of John Bolton to become the US Ambassador to the United Nations. I’ve read several editorials but perhaps the most eloquent person to describe his qualifications for this role is John Bolton himself. Please take the time to watch Mr. John Bolton in the below 2 minute video and decide for yourself what you think. If you are left with a similar impression as I am, I suggest that you pass this link and the video on it to every friend you know and everyone contact your Senators immediately and the press that this man should absolutely not be confirmed as the UN Ambassador.

On April 7th (two days from now), the Senate will be considering this man’s appointment. If anyone here thinks that the United State’s standing in the world of diplomacy is already on shaky enough grounds, imagine this person as being the one representing us in the United Nations.

And mind you -- that's against some pretty tough competition. He's world class bonkers, Caligula-level bonkers.

Some of the stuff he has said might have earned him 90 days of observation in a mental hospital, had he uttered them in a context outside the Heritage Foundation.

When have you ever seen a paranoid ranting performance like that shown in this video, outside of bars or mental hospitals? Not even Zell Miller comes close. I think even Kim Il Jong is more in control of himself. You'd have to look at Hitler's speeches to see this kind of ill-contained manic fury, and I do not say that lightly.

Maybe Bush and Rove do sit there getting drunk and deciding to see how far they can go and how much opposition is really out there....even more frightening of a thought, is that I sometimes think that what they do is send out someone we will all think is the craziest and oppose them, only to turn around knowing full well that someone like Bolton won't make it and then put in place the really dangerous and more "stealth" psychopath....

Either way....this guy must be opposed and not become the UN Ambassador...otherwise, Jeebus save us, because the world will be screwed.... :scared:

or not....but I agree, this needs to be seen by many people....Everyone can read the editorials and articles opposing this guy, but this 2 minute video says it all....and by none other than John Bolton himself on why he isn't qualified....

I do think that he is seriously the craziest of the crazy neo-cons...I don't know how Bush could have seriously nominated this guy for the position unless he's either telling the world to go f*ck itself or he is testing how far he can go unopposed....Maybe both....But one thing is clear - if this guy John Bolton does become UN Ambassador, our already pathetic standing in the World Family will become at about the worst standing we have ever had as a nation. There is not a diplomatic bone in this nut cases body....I think that the only thing this man would be capable of doing successfully is dismantling any and all diplomatic and good-will efforts this nation has ever built.....Any and all treaties will be most likely destroyed by this psycho and people would be walking out of the UN on him...His job is clear - go dismantle and destroy the UN....

If the Senate confirms this man, Bush will know that he has what he wants...ultimate power to do what he wants...and he will....
