Encore Clean Energy, Inc. to Demonstrate Breakthrough Power Source Encore

http://biz.yahoo.com/bw/050315/155582_1.html

The HeatSeeker(tm) is expected to provide substantial advantages over competing legacy engine technologies:
• lower cost per horsepower
• higher operating efficiency
• higher fuel efficiency
• lower emissions and environmental impact
• higher power density in a smaller size package

The creator of the Encore HeatSeeker(tm), Mr. Robert Hunt, began his career as a nuclear designer for Newport News Shipping, then a division of Tenneco Oil Company, where he designed nuclear reactor components for the U.S.S. Nimitz Aircraft Carrier. He has since dedicated his time to the development and patenting of numerous alternative, clean-energy generating technologies, many of which are exclusively licensed to Encore. Mr Hunt says, "The Heat Seeker power technology will help the world reduce its growing demand for imported foreign energy".

The Company intends to focus its licensing, marketing and sales efforts for the Heat Seeker product-line on the following applications and commercial targets:

1. Waste heat recovery from coal, natural gas and nuclear power plants.

2. Industrial boiler, furnace and process heat recovery.

3. Hydraulic construction equipment tailpipe exhaust heat recovery

4. Hydrogen vehicle fuel cell waste heat recovery.

5. Hybrid vehicle gasoline engine exhaust heat recovery.

6. Rooftop solar-thermal heat-to-electricity conversion.

7. Geothermal heat recovery

Here is a company that is thinking along the right lines. If you invest in stocks you may wish to check this one out... ECLN

Or are you just being facetious? I'm posting about clean energy and getting away from foreign oil and you post about some continual motion machine. Don't invest just burn more oil. sheesh

8. Not As Far Fetched As It Sounds
I am a glider pilot. You might be amazed at how far modern gliders can fly using only thermal flight.

Essentially, this concept replaces thermal energy with the buoyancy of a lighter-than-air gas to achieve vertical lift.

The question will be how much lifting capacity can be achieved.

The second question will be how fast it will fly in practice.

Certainly, it will not achieve jet liner speeds.

But when the fuel does become too expensive because of Peak Oil, this might be a viable alternative.

5. THe tech is out there to do a lot
Nobody is investing in it, as I have found with trying to just get someone to consider my proposal past a casual glance.
