Ignorance of press corps regarding passing of Pope?
I was surfing channels and listening to the reporters sitting in Rome with obviously no researchers to feed them info during the many hours they were posed in front of St Peters or a picture of St Peters saying over and over "no word yet". They even said that had NO IDEA what to expect and I think they were getting information out of the novel "Di Vinci Code" which probably has a lot of truth in it but is hardly a reference source.

Note to my late friend from Gujarat, because too many of todays Americans are really, really stupid and to my shame love to flaunt it.)

1. I've watched msnbc
Keith Olbermann and Tweety seem to have a pretty good grasp of how things work at the Vatican.
