every station, and every news web site saying Pope in grave condition, Pope clinging to life, Pope on the verge of death. Damn, I wish the media would leave these dying folks alone.

You're either in grave condition, or you're dead.

'Grave' is one of those words which can't be qualified...

Like 'unique,' which means 'one of a kind.'

People say things are 'very unique' and ''extremely unique.'

Something is either one of a kind, or it's not. There's no such thing as 'very one of a kind' or 'extremely one of a kind.'

8. It's like Algebra.
If "grave" is x and "very grave" is 2x, then "very very grave" is 3x. Altogether, that means that "very grave" is twice as bad off as "grave". Right? :eyes:
